The pathway on the Hawkswood Walk is good all the way up and there are fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. At the top, the walker emerges into a flat field with wonderful views overlooking the bog and Cuilcagh Mountain. It is a moderate walk with mountainous terrain. It is believed that there was once a fairy fort at this location.
