The Burren Perfumery and Floral Centre has been a family run business for more than four decades. A traditional soap, creams and perfume centre which uses oils and plants from across the world. It is situated in Carran, County Clare in the heart of the Burren, one of the most beautiful and spectacular floral landscapes in the world. The Perfumery produces a range of organic face and body creams and soaps as well as the Burren inspired perfumes which are all prepared on the premises using traditional methods with natural ingredients. The friendly staff will be happy to answer any questions and explain the different blending methods.Visitors can enjoy the beautiful audio visual about the flowers and landscape, visit the soap making, distillation and blending rooms where soaps, creams, oils and herbal teas are prepared using traditional methods or relax in the extensive organic native herb garden (winner of 2009 National Biodiversity Garden of the Year special Award). They can also sample a tasty lunch in the peaceful tea rooms which serve organic homemade food amidst the natural beauty of the Burren. Full mail order service also available via their website.
