The Baptistery
About
The grand Romanesque round building, Baptistery has an eight-sided pyramidal dome. In 1152, Diotisalvi began the construction. The Baptistery is in white marble; however, parts of the pyramidal dome have red bricks and part parts of it are covered in white lead leaf.
