This may well be the most beautiful garden restaurant in town. Its large dining room, overlooking the palace park, is one of the most tranquil places to eat in Vienna. The cooking is unashamedly luxurious, with ample use of ingredients such as truffles, caviar and champagne; perfectly expressing the style of this excellent Viennese cooking. A piano player entertains guests in the evenings; and in the afternoon, traditional English tea-time is observed. There are also special children's portions, even though your offspring might well prefer a Big Mac to a Pigeon Cassoulet.
