This store is a hip outfitter of clothing, body armor, accessories and specialty products for mountain bikers and BMX racers. Ingrid Doerr, a bike courier dissatisfied with the scant selection of clothes and accessories available for bike messengers, founded Roach in 1988. It all began with a prototype courier bag that became a hit with her fellow downtown street warriors. The total line now consists of technical and semi-technical clothing, body armor and stylish custom apparel.
