Despite it's prestigious position opposite the Veletrzni Palac modern art gallery, this pub maintains a stubborn refusal to gentrify. Clean but low-priced, the pub serves a wide range of traditional Czech food at very reasonable prices. The interior is split into three, a small bar where the locals stand to drink in the evening opens onto a larger room for sitting while beyond is the restaurant. The décor beyond the football banners of the bar nook is plain but smart and the pub offers a pleasant atmosphere in which to eat a low-priced meal.
