Petit-Train des Gorges d'Héric

Avenue des Gorges de l'Héric

About

These little "trains" offer the chance for the whole family to admire the magnificent Héric gorge. Famous for its waterfalls, caves and its herds of Mouflons (mountain sheep), the gorge lies at the center of the Parc Naturél Régional du Haut Languedoc. The trains leave from the Tourist office of the village of Mons-la-Trivalle (located along the D908 between Olargues and Lamalou-les-Bains) and follow the D908, six kilometers (four miles) along the gorge. The trip lasts about an hour with the chance of a stop at the highest spot along the route. The gorge is about 85 kilometers (53 miles) from Montpellier.
