Discover Wild Sea, which showcases Victoria's diverse coastal environment, exhibiting Victoria's iconic Little Penguins, Australian Fur Seals, and other wildlife native to Victorian waters in an amazing underwater world. Let the kids free at Growing Wild a world-first exhibit focused on creating play opportunities and nurturing an early love of nature. The exhibit is filled with animals, sculptures, tunnels and sounds, so kids can scramble, crawl and climb or stand look-out like a meerkat. Zoo keeper talks and feeding times are a great opportunity for visitors to find out more about the fascinating world of wildlife and the conservation programs Melbourne Zoo supports. Did you ever wish, as a child, that you could explore the secrets of the Zoo after dark 'I, Animal' is a world-first interactive experience, it is a mixture of multi-media, theatrical experience and animal encounter specially designed into one tour for guests to experience, only at Melbourne Zoo. 'I, Animal' uses ground-breaking technology to take you on a remarkable, and surprisingly emotive journey through the interior of Melbourne Zoo at night.Open daily from 9am to 5pm. On selected summer weekend evenings the Zoo stays open until 9.30pm for the Zoo Twilights concert series and I,Animal. Content: Melbourne Zoo Adult Children under 16 years old recieve free entry every weekend, during Victorina school holidays and on Victorian public holidays. Melbourne Zoo is located only minutes from the city centre, within Royal Park. Car parking is available or visitors can take the tram or train to reach the Zoo. Tram 19 from Elizabeth Street - daily Tram 55 from William Street Monday -Saturday and Tram 68 from Elizabeth Street runs on Sundays. Trains run from historic Flinders Street Station on the Upfield line, stopping at Melbourne Zoo's own Royal Park Station.
