The Marktplatz (market place) is one of the most picturesque sites in the town. It is surrounded by the town hall, the Großzunft(Guildhouse) and the Steuerhaus (tax house). On Tuesday and Saturday mornings there is a farmers market, where fresh vegetables and fruits are sold.
