This fine museum provides visitors with a well-structured exhibition through which they can discover the history, science and benefits of forests and forestry in Indonesia. Among the objects on display is a spectrum of equipment used to fell trees, and dioramas showing rain, teak, pine and Agathi forests and mangroves. An excellent library on-site shelves books, references and periodicals on forestry, the environment and national parks. The collection is available in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Admission is free.
