This pleasantly old-fashioned operation sells soap made the old-fashioned way: with natural colorings and the highest-quality ingredients. A Frommer's reader from Pennsylvania puts it thus in a letter: "Fabulous soap, nice store, personable shop owner who will give tours of the soap making process. There's even a 'gentlemen's bench' for the gentlemen to sit and wait while their ladies purchase soap." Especially cool is the shop sign, which blows fragrant soap bubbles (during open hours only) onto the street.
