kadisha valley, also named Holy Valley, is the oldest refuge of the Christians in the region. many convents were built long ago throughout the valley by the Maronites such as St. Elicha' convent, Our Lady convent, Our Lady of Kadisha convent, S., Anthony convent. it is a marvelous place to visit.
