The only Texas Bar and Grill in Xiamen, JJ's is located in the popular Haiwan Park at the edge of the water. JJ's offers diners a taste of Texas, with it's huge menu of assorted barbeque items. The owner, a native Texan, actually shipped the smoker from Texas to give his food an authentic taste. Like many restuarants/bars in Haiwan Park, JJ's is very quiet during the day, but is quite popular with both foreigners and natives alike. The bar has a Texas themed decor, with waiters wearing "Keep Austin Weird" shirts. An electronic bull is setup, allowing braver (or inebriated) customers to try their luck at staying on the electronic ride, a treat for the participant and even more for the amusement of onlookers.
