Hughes & Hughes is a pleasant escape from the deafening acoustics of the Stephen's Green Shopping Center, but compared to Waterstone's and Hodges Figges just up on Dawson Street, it still has a way to go. There's a good selection of gift books and recent fiction, but much of the stock looks like the stuff larger bookstores place next to the till for impulse buys.
