Earlier this spot carried country palace of Kiev princes (XI-XII), then the land was graned to the monasteries and St. George the Victorious church was built (XVI-XVII). Though it was ruined in 1962, the Holy Trinity church arrose in the former prayer house. Rebuilt in 1991-1997.
