Situated on a busy but rather run-down street in Pest's sixth district, the King of the Pork Knuckle (as the title translates) is just that. There are two floors with wooden tables and chairs, wooden stairs lead to the upper level, the bar is also made of wood with a small roof imitating a rustic house in a forest. Garlic soup served in rye-bread is a potent starter, maybe followed by the rude-sounding Gentlemen's tenderloin. Sausage with sauerkraut or noodles with cottage cheese are other options but the highlight is the pork knuckle with cabbage. Wash all this down with beer and then try to move.
