Brunswick Street is a main thoroughfare within the suburbs of New Farm and Fortitude Valley (known locally as the Valley) in Brisbane, Australia. The street is not entirely roadway but is a pedestrian mall for a hundred metres near its center. During the day the action is concentrated on Brunswick Street Mall, a pedestrianised arcade full of pavement cafes, bars and shops. The northeast section of Fortitude Valley and New Farm is more pleasant though - James and Brunswick Sts are good places to begin your exploration.
