Run by the Bergama Chamber of Commerce, this "social establishment" is filling the dining void with this lovely restaurant near the Ulu Mosque (sure, the town has other restaurants, but they ebb and flow with the tourist tide, as does the freshness of the dishes served). The restored building dates to 1850 and the outdoor terrace and ground-level cafe take advantage of the manicured landscaping. The menu sticks to the expected salads, meatballs, and grills.
