The story behind the Smokehouse is just as much of a reason to stop in as the delicious barbecue they sell. John Rivers' passion for barbecue grew as he organized barbecue fundraisers for different charities and local needs. Eventually, the demand for his legendary sweet and tangy with a smoke spice sauce became overwhelming prompting the opening of the first 4Rivers Smokehouse in Winter Park. Now Rivers serves a line of guests every night at his restaurant.
